Waiting for spring!

Here an update on my project. Now its tedious work as I am adding the three dimensional effect to it which for those of you who do bead means fringe work. for those of you who don't it means adding 3 beads onto the string and going back through the bottom 2 and back into the starter bead. It will be great when I get it done but for now I only work on it a little at a time.

Lizard is leaving for New York on Wed, I will miss her sweet little face so much. I hope her mom has gotten her webcam bought (hint hint)

Couple places of interest West out of Phoenix near Superior Arizona is the Boyce Thompson Aboretum. We spent a wonderful day there(yes I forgot the camera). We were able to take the dogs on all of the trails and only had a couple of cactus pricks in the cactus garden. They also have a herb garden, rose garden, hummingbird garden, Australia garden, and so much more with a lake lots of trails to walk on the weather was 74 degrees and beautiful. I would love to go back. From there we headed north to the Roosevelt lake area wonderful cactus forests and a wonderful lake area that we intend to visit again

We stayed the our first night in Moab and they had lots of snow the contrast of the red rocks and the white snow is a very beautiful sight.

We stayed our second night in Camp Verede Arizona At a RV resort. It was nice but not our kind of place most of the people there are there for the winter . There is a shuttle from the park over to the casino.

On Monday we made it to Phoenix and actually drove right to the Rv repair place. Where we have been parked ever since.

On Tuesday we took a drive down to Quartzsite what a place . we did find where we are planning on staying when we do get down there. the weather was a perfect 73 degrees

Today we have headed north the Williams Arizona which is just 30 miles from the grand canyon were staying the night here then headed to the canyon tomorrow

We are off tomorrow to warmer climates for a couple of weeks.
We have to be in Surprise Arizona on the 13th to have the damage to the house repaired then we are meeting friends in Quartzite on the 19th.
Not sure when we will return I will try to post along the way if I can find wifi and hopefully will have new pictures.

We had a pretty quiet New Years eve Chelly Belly was here. We were supposed to have Lizard to but her mother ended up sick and so she stayed home. I don't have any new pics so am just posting some from Christmas and before
