We left again on the 7th

We had no sooner got home and turned around on the 7th and went to flaming gorge! All of the girls went up and stayed on Wed and the guys came up on Friday till Sunday.
Jack found a really great spot right on the water and they even launched the boats right there.
We took baby Chelle with us and she had a ball, she's a little fish and would stay in the water till her little teeth chattered, then she'd cry when we made her get out and warm up, as you can see all of the kids had a ball in the water, oh and the fishing was pretty good also Jason caught the big fish of the weekend at 33lbs.
We came home on Sunday and I took mom to mesquite on Monday, uncle Ray, my cousins Lisa, Vicki, and Cathy (she's visiting from Wisconsin) all went down so we drove down and met them. We had a great visit, other than it was 114 degrees there which was way to hot, but as long as you stayed in the casinos you were OK!
Sat Kolby, Ashley, and I drove to Grand Junction and took Kolby school shopping (probably the last time as she is planning on graduating in Jan) she found some really cute stuff and Ash and I got some last minute things for the new baby.
So to sum it all up in the last month I have been clear across Wyoming, into Montana, down through Idaho, clear across Utah, into Nevada, and finally to Colorado! cant wait to start planning out next trip!

July 25th

We landed in West Yellowstone on the 25th and stayed trough the 30th,
We had a wonderful time the weather was perfect with rain showers every afternoon and high about 66 degrees, what more could you ask for after coming through 104 degree days, anyways the trip ended to soon, but were hoping to go back the middle of Sept, depending on when Ashes baby gets here,

top of the world

This is the top of Beartooth pass, very beautiful drive a bit steep to take the trailer but we did!

Here we are!

So we left the house on Friday morning planning on staying at granite creek for a couple of days and hanging out in the hot springs and just relaxing, Checked the Internet Thursday evening everything is fine, between that time and the time we arrived at the canyon entrance the canyon was on fire, they evacuated the hot springs, and the campground, Now we are really worried as trying to find a camp spot in Jackson hole on a Friday night in the middle of July could of been a night mare, but we drove into the grand Tetons and found a spot at the Gros Ventre campground. Not a bad campground, no amenities, so we fired up the generator clicked on the air conditioner and nothing, The fan comes on and that's it, and its really warm out still 96 out and the trailer is pretty warm inside, We made a drink fired up the barbecue, grilled some steaks and waited by 10:30 it had cooled of enough that we could sleep. Sat morning called Wayne at the Virginian to come out and have a look he climbs up on the trailer removes the cover tells Mitch to turn it on so he can check the power supply and lo and behold the damn thing works. We all had a great laugh we packed up and headed into Cody by the time we got there it was 104 out (seems this part of the country is in a heat wave) pulled int the campground fired up the air conditioner worked just fine, did some shopping, skipped the museum this time as it takes days and days to see everything, just spent the night and headed out north we took the Chief Joseph highway out of Cody which is an incredible drive in itself the new truck handled the grades wonderfully ( 14 miles of 7% grades) at the end of this road you can either go into west into Cooke city or go East over the Bear tooth highway into red lodge We having never went over the Bear tooth decided to go that way. Now believe me when I tell you this is not the road that you want to pull the fifth wheel over its steep, narrow lofts of up and then lots of down. The new truck took it all in stride and we never missed a beat, but I was very glad to get down the other side. (I have pictures by the wifi here is iffy at best so will have to wait on those) We drove into Livingston and stayed 2 nights, went to all the museums and drove into Yellowstone on afternoon got to see a mama grizzly with 2 cubs plus all the usual suspects, the park is really not as crowded as usual we were pleasantly surprised. This morning we drove into Bozeman and are currently at the KOA, Its raining and wonderful, did some shopping, went out to eat, and that brings me to the right now. We are moving tomorrow to west Yellowstone were I know the wifi is much better will try to get some pics on.

The big baby and new little baby

So last Friday Mitch and Dave went on a service call out in the desert, while there This puppy came wondering up to them, They were out in the middle of no where, no houses, no water of any kind, nobody around. So they brought him home, We actually turned him over to the shelter on Friday but couldn't take it and went and got him on Monday, he's very cute and seems pretty smart. I can't believe somebody could just take him out there and leave him, people can be so cruel,
Anyways Ash is going to take him when they get in there house, so this brings our total dog count right now to 4.

The new truck

Here's the new truck!

Here the progress

So the garage is starting to look like a garage finally, as you can see we have one more slab of cement to pour in the front, but were waiting on a motor for one of the cement mixers, plus we are burned out on cement, what you can't see is the floor of the garage is almost 6 inches thick which has taken a lot of cement and its really been way to hot as of late!__________________________________________________________________
Its been really smokey from all of the fires its hard to tell whats burning where from all of the smoke, there saying now if we don't get some good rains the fire could burn all summer, did get great news they save whiterocks canyon, which made all of us really happy!
Not to bad though for a summer project!
