Were home!

OK it wasn't the trip we imagined but we still had a very good time.

To begin with we made to Jackson Hole around 3:00 pm on Friday parked our trailer at the Virginian RV park in town ( by the way this is a really great place to stay will get to why really soon) decided we would grab a bite to eat at the village idiot ( village Inn) we had a great breakfast for dinner and upon leaving the parking lot , at the light our o1 dodge died ( now this was a very new thing we have never experienced) in all of the travels of the last few years we really haven't had any problems with this truck, anyways Jackson has a community patrol who was very helpful in helping us get the truck off the road, where Mitch determined that the injection pump had went out, now this pump was only 10 months old and under warranty, so in short we had the truck towed, The managers at the Virginian were so great they let us park the truck in an empty stall, called the rental car company for us, and allowed Mitch to fix the truck right there in the park, but while we were waiting for parts to arrive ( they arrived on Tuesday) we didn't miss out on much the rental car was a new experience for us as we haven't driven an actual car in something like 18 years, but we still got to go bumming and do the things that we wanted. We still very glad to get our truck back up and running, plus I talked to the insurance people today and they will cover the tow and the rental car, so that was really good news, and the place where we got the part said they would be willing to pay for the labor and replace the part. so we weren't out much other than a little stress.

The south end of Yellowstone still has a lot of snow, and the rivers are very full, It was wonderful thought just to be there. seen many animals, the blue herons were the best though, they were in the same area over several day, I assume they must be going to nest there.

Jackson Hole this time of year is perfect as it is the off season so there are not so many people around but still lots to do, most of the businesses are open, the museums and art galleries are open.

I got up this morning and had a wild hair and went through and cleaned all of the rest of the carpets in the house, were sitting her right now with limited furniture waiting for them to dry so that I might be able to put things back together ( my first installment of spring cleaning I suppose) and tomorrow I think I'm going to paint the hall, but who knows

We are going up whiterocks for Memorial day to camp , as of today there are going to be 15 total campers, this may grow over the next week, you just never know. I'm the lucky one as we have already had the trailer out and so mine is packed and ready to go. Plus baby Chelle is going with us which will be a lot of fun.

One last thing to leave you guys with, go to Google search engine and put in your name followed by the word want, loves or needs and see what it brings up, ( such as Dana wants, or Dana needs, etc) you might be surprised by the results I laughed out loud at mine!
