Merry Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas eve, All of the kids were here. We had a really nice dinner and the babies were fun.
Now that the girls are older it gets harder and harder to get pics of them together but throw in a bag a chips and its a photo moment

I should be in Arizona!
Its cold and snowy oh and did I say Cold here. Were still in limbo over the sale of the house and don't think its going to go through till after the first of the year. The new house is holding up and keeping us warm. It was -3 degrees here night before last and we had no problems keeping warm and comfortable.

A Sunday Project!
So this is my kitchen before, and I loved the wall board but was worried that over time with cooking smatters that it would eventually start to look not so great. I had been looking for something to make a back splash that would look good and also be easier to wash.
So here we go.

A long weekend.
So I was in bed all day yesterday with a head cold which has now become a sinus infection which gave me a lot of time to work on my bead project. This is the top half which is now complete except for the strings hanging off every where as you can see its now 2 inches by about 2 inches
I like how its turning out and now have the hang of the stitching When this is done then I believe I will be able to make my own designs.
We got a lot done over the weekend the Zinger is now spit shined and ready to be put up for sale, while we know that this is the wrong time of the year to be trying to sale a fifth wheel we figure we will give it a try.
We also got some other winterizing projects done even though the weather was pretty incredible with the high being in the high 50's.
For thanksgiving we had mexican with home made enchiladas and tamales, Drue was here and Then Kolby on Sat. We had Chelly Belly on Sat night. So all and all we had a busy and productive and fun weekend.

new projects!
Here is my latest project, I know it doesn't look like much yet but hopefully it will when I am done. This is peyote stitch and something I have never done and because of that I bought this as a kit which included directions (thank god) and everything you need to complete the project.
After several (like 4) false starts I finally got the hang of it this is about 2 inches wide and I have about a inch done. These are seed beads
As you can see Rocky has made himself right at home in the new house, we had planned on removing this couch but the dogs love it so much that we have decided to leave it. Odin has actually been getting on it at night to sleep which has given us much more room in our bed. Another plus is underneath there is lots of storage for all my arts and crafts
