One of Those days!

The new baby reluctantly layed down with Rocky while I was cooking dinner. At least Rocky has enough hair to keep them both warm, lol

So Its Friday and I wanted to get a bunch of stuff done so I could just kind of play this weekend. I spent the morning cleaning. you know the usual stuff dusting, ran the vacuum, cleaned the mirrors. that sort of thing. And also I am rearranging some stuff in the fifth wheel as I just haven't liked where it was at. After tearing stuff out of cupboards and closets and moving this thing over there and that thing over here I actually felt better or maybe it was more organized anyways. I also had some errands to run but of course I was waiting on people who were supposed to stop by and take care of some things. And I needed to go to the grocery store. These days this is my least favorite job. I hate having to find a place to park and then fight my way up and down the isles and then When I do get to the checkout I am so amazed at what I have to pay for so few things in my cart.
So one of the things I was going to the store for was tortilla's. I had wanted to make tacos last week and when I got my tortilla's out of the fridge they were hard and crunchy. So this was top of my list ( yes I had a list) So I fight my way through the store picking up Items on my list and get to the checkout and I had forgotten Ice tea mix (not on my list of course) so while the nice checker starts scanning my groceries I run down the isle to get Ice tea mix half way back I realize that I have gotten the raspberry kind that I don't like and have to run back and do a quick exchange. ( yea I can see you all visualizing me running arms flailing down the isles with my Lipton's Ice tea mix)I run back to the check stand as the nice checker is scanning the last of my items. Get my total, swipe my card, and then head home. So I know what you all are thinking that wasn't so bad a typical visit to the grocery store, but there is more I get to the truck and cannot for the life of me get the button unlock thing to work. I tried and tried and finally ended up unlocking the truck the old fashioned way with the key ( I know who would of thought) load the groceries drive home, unload the groceries, put the groceries away. And then go to make......... wait can you guess TACOS for dinner and guess what I didn't buy tortilla's. I was so disgusted by this point that I decided to order out for Chinese food. The one good thing I had no dirty dishes.
I may try to do tacos tomorrow but then who knows what will happen.

More new baby!

This is what the new baby thinks of me playing on the computer. He still doesn't have a name we are still trying to discover his personality.
I cleaned out my pond yesterday and got it filled and the pump in it. I can't wait till I can plant some flowers around it
While it has been beautiful here the last couple of days it supposed to take a drastic turn for the worse with snow forcasted for tomorrow.

Spring or is it!

I have been loving the warm weather the last few days. On Saturday Mitch and I took the scooters for a ride. We did get most of the yard cleaned up and I guess it wasn't as messy as I thought it was. It looks so much better and now I can't wait for everything to turn green

Ashley has big news!

Lizard is going to be a big sister in August. Ashley said she hasn't been as sick with this one as she was with lizard And has the feeling this time its a boy. As soon as they can tell on the ultrasound then we will all know.

Its that time of the year!

The snows are all gone and what is left in there wake? Garbage, broken limbs. dead flowers, weeds, dead leaves, and so on and so forth.
Its that time of the year where we brake out the gloves, rakes and shovels and start cleaning up the yard and its really a mess.
I don't know where all of it comes from. Makes me wonder if the neighbors snuck over one snowy night and dumped there trash knowing full well that it wouldn't be discovered till the following spring.
So I am off to start this spring ritual look forward to many pictures in the process

For those having problems you need to join.
So go to the menu box on the upper left hand side the fifth selection down is the join button click on it and then you will see the users agreement form on the bottom you will have to agree to the terms and then it will move you through the process from there you should be able to just log on hope this helps

a new project.

I have several new projects going on at the moment. And we have had a renewed interest in our house I hope this means that things are starting to go our way. Over the weekend we have had 2 new showings not sure if its because it warming up or because things within the financial sector are starting to open up but either way we are happy about it.
I am in the process of building my own forum. I have been looking for a place to go to meet up with others like myself who have multiple interests. Who love to meet new people. Who want to discuss more than one subject.
I have found Art forums. I have found Literature forums. I have found news forums. And I have found friends forums. While all I have visited have been great they are all directed to one specific subject. I wanted a forum that had numerous subjects that I could enjoy. Something with a positive attitude. and people who are doing more diverse things. So in my searching I was unable to find what I was looking for and decided to build my own. I have it up and running and will be posting the address her very soon. I need to figure out how everything works so that I can help new members.
I am adding new rooms and if anybody has suggestions I would love to hear from you.
The name of the new forum is the Chatty Chicks Cafe and everybody is welcome. You will have to register in order to participate. It is a public forum but moderated. which means no name calling, no ugly things or your posts will be removed and you will be banned from the site.
