And now it begins!
We finally decided where we are putting the garage which only requires the cutting down of one tree, which made me very happy (and it didn't take 2 years to decide) the only other problem is that the phone line is buried in there some where and hopefully it doesn't get cut in the process, If I suddenly disappear from the Internet you'll know why.

Its a girl
Ashley is having a girl, she had her big ultrasound yesterday and it confirmed that its a girl. I went with her and it was pretty incredible you can see all features, all organs, the ultrasounds I had were never this detailed, anyways she has all of her fingers and toes every thing looks good and she due about the 10th of Sept. Now they have the job of finding a name.

We have our new summer project, were building a garage. well OK we are going t o build a garage when we can finally agree on where to put it. Now you all will remember it took us 2 years to build a deck because we couldn't agree on whether it should be a covered deck or un covered, so now we are looking at where to put the garage. I don't care too much as long as we don't have to cut down any tree's and of course right where Mitch wants it there are 3 tree's that would have to go. so I will keep you updated on where we end up on this.

I have a new indoor project I'm turning one of our bedrooms into an art room and pulled up the carpet in preparation for the laminate hardwood flooring, going to put it in ourselves they say its simple, we shall see.

Easter weekend was not what we were planning, We had planned on going camping for the weekend but that was not meant to be, as we took the fifth wheel into the shop 3 weeks ago for some minor repairs and they found a bent axle and had to order a new one and it hasn't come in yet so the trailer is still in the shop and we stayed home for the weekend, which was nice and relaxing, the weather on Sunday was so windy and cold that we were really glad we hadn't went.
This is the first year I haven't had to color eggs and I was very happy about that That's the one thing I won't miss about the kids growing up.

Great flying weather........................................................................................................................................................................................As you can see from the pics the yards a mess, I can never figure out where all the trash comes from when the snow melts. I know that the garbage wasn't there before it snowed and I know it didn't come with the snow (at least I hope not) so where does it come from?
Where off the the hockey game, last one of the season! woohooo we are so excited!
Is anybody still having trouble downloading pics to there blogs? would love to hear from you. I'm wondering if there's something I should be doing that I am not?

Mother Nature
Mother nature is such a tease this time of the year. Its been really nice long enough that I have stopped carrying my coat with me at all times, even this morning it was really nice out and by 1:00pm its was so nasty and cold out with 40 mile per hour winds, had a little rain, supposed to get some snow tonight through Thursday then hopefully back to forgetting my coat.Friday, March 23, 2007
Spring is here (finally)
Its been a busy week, plus it has been so nice outside that its been hard for me to set down at the computer and add to my blog.
Last Sunday the guy next door decided to burn the ditch banks, which got a little scary at one point with 40 foot high flames, it got bad enough that all 3 fire trucks showed up and stood by just in case, I had all my windows open as it was so incredibly beautiful outside ( 71 degrees) and had to close them all to keep the house from filling up with smoke. He has a couple he didn't do that's probably his plan for this weekend.
Baby Opal has been sick with RSV. so far so good they have been able to treat her at home, and we are all keeping our fingers crossed that it continues that way.
We have water again!!!!!! no more hose water for us and no broken pipes thank goodness. took most of the day last Saturday but we are now reconnected and have normal water pressure, woo hoo. we were very glad other than I was hoping to get my pond dug but what the hell will figure something out I'm sure.
My strawberries are alive and coming up. I was really worried about them as this winter was such a hard one and I didn't mulch them or anything last fall so I wasn't sure they were going to survive. Now just waiting to see if any of my flowers have survived non seem to be coming up yet, but it is a little Early and really hasn't been that warm.
Got the camp trailer over to Sundance on Monday to have a few things fixed in anticipation of Easter weekend, were all going to the white river for the weekend (well hopefully the white river that's still kinda up in the air) or somewhere for the weekend. The first camping trip of the season and we are all very much looking forward to it.
We have tickets the the grizzlies game next Sat. The last one of the season and we are very sad to see the season end and will miss Jack and Shawna as with the new baby they are sitting this one out. Everybody else is looking forward to going. Kolby has really become a hockey fan and is more excited than any of the rest of us. Ash and Jason are unable to attend as they are in the middle of buying a new house and we will miss them also.
well that's about it from here, for now. I'm sure there's lots more and will remember it right after I post this. But will save it for the next post
